ACWA Power – a developer, investor, and operator of power generation and desalinated water plants – has registered as an Energy and Water Partner of COP29, demonstrating the company’s commitment to sustainable practices in the renewable energy space, News.Az reports.

The company also confirmed that it will participate in the Green Belt as a forward-thinking leader in the energy sector, committed to advocating sustainable and responsible practices. Through its participation, the company aims to leverage this unique platform to collaborate with international industry peers, potential partners, and climate advocates, to drive progress in the energy transition.

As the world’s largest water desalination service provider, ACWA Power is a pioneering force in green hydrogen and a leader in the global energy transition. Since its establishment in Riyadh in 2004, ACWA Power has grown to employ more than 4,000 people and operates in 13 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. ACWA Power aligns its strategies with the United Nations’ climate goals, showcasing innovative renewable energy projects around the world to increase energy efficiency, conserve water, and reduce environmental impact.
